Job summary

SeaWorld in San Diego seeks an Ambassador Manager to coordinate daily activities across retail, games, and photo units, focusing on profitability and safety. You will lead a team to deliver top guest service and drive revenue opportunities.

The role requires a 3-year management background (preferably in a theme park or high-volume retail), a business-related degree or relatable experience, and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office. Weekend/holiday schedules apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred, or relatable experience.
• Three years management and/or supervisory experience, preferred in a theme park or high-volume retail.
• Proficient in Microsoft software products.
• Demonstrated initiative, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of several retail, games/vending, and photo units at the location with a focus on profit and ambassador safety.

What it takes to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred, or relatable experience.
• Three (3) years management and/or supervisory experience, preferred setting in a theme park or high-volume retail.
• Proficient in Microsoft software products.
• Demonstrated initiative, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; Confident and outgoing presence with the ability to professional interact with various levels of ambassadors and leadership.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with a detailed oriented style and strict deadlines.
• Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills

What else is important:

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights
• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes
• Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
• Available to work varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation: $70,304 annually
