Nscale is seeking a highly experienced MEP Manager to join our team as a full-time employee, serving as the owner's technical expert for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on a new, large-scale data center project. This individual will embed on-site alongside the General Construction Manager and serve as the primary owner's representative for the full MEP scope - from pre-construction coordination through installation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance.
The successful candidate will bring deep technical knowledge of mission-critical MEP systems including UPS, switchgear, generators, cooling plant, and low-voltage infrastructure, and will be able to hold GC, MEP subcontractors, and equipment vendors accountable to the owner's standards and schedule.
MEP systems are the backbone of every data center we build - power, cooling, and life-safety infrastructure have to work flawlessly from day one. This role is the owner's eyes and ears on the ground for that entire scope, directly shaping whether Project Monarch comes online on schedule, on spec, and ready for mission-critical operation.
