The Manager of the Member Protection Program leads a specialized team responsible for ensuring the safety and security of United States Senators. This role provides strategic leadership, guidance, and support to program personnel while overseeing the development and implementation of policies and procedures that advance shared situational awareness, deliberate and crisis action planning, emergency response coordination, and informed decision‑making. The manager will assist with overseeing multiple contracts that support program operations, ensuring effective vendor performance, compliance with requirements, and alignment with mission objectives. The role also serves as a key liaison with local, state, federal and private sector partners to maintain seamless coordination and operational readiness. Additionally, the manager prepares and delivers written and oral briefings to senior stakeholders and develops and executes research strategies, policies, and action plans to enhance overall program capability. Additional duties may be assigned.
