Job Summary:

The Manager, Medical Risk Adjustment Analytics is responsible for the day to day operations of the Finance Information Management area focusing on fulfilling the data and information needs of the broader Finance organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Executes the strategic direction for team
  • Ensure the Finance Information Management function proactively collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders, including Finance, Regulatory, Information Technology, and Data Governance areas
  • Leads triage and overall prioritization of Finance Information Technology needs using both direct reports and dedicated IT staff.
  • Identify and develop strategies for the application of emerging technology to Finance related problems.
  • Manage key vendor relationships in support of the work being completed
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to staff
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required in related field
  • Masters or other advanced degree in related field preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional level experience performing a broad range of data analysis and management required
  • Strong database (SAS, SQL, or Access) experience is preferred
  • Experience in communicating and presenting to senior leadership preferred
  • Knowledge of health care reporting standards preferred
  • Managed care or healthcare experience is preferred

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expert proficiency level with Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite to include, Word, Power Point and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and to manage multiple priorities with limited resources
  • Ability to effectively report data, analyze facts, and exercise sound business judgment when making recommendations
  • Ability to analyze problems, draw conclusions, develop processes and communicate status and results
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with executive levels of management as well as external stakeholders

  • None

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:

$92,300.00 - $161,600.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
