Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and organizing data into meaningful reports for management decision-making. Designs, develops, tests, and deploys reports for operational and strategic analysis.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Manages and oversees Medical Economics Team activities and personnel. Provides technical expertise, manages relationships with operational leaders and staff. Directs project staff, maintains work plans to meet reporting needs, and handles staff development and performance coaching.

• Daily management of Data Management, Tools & Technology work stream.
• Allocates new report/project requests and workload distribution.
• Coordinates with Medical Economics team to meet data analysis and database development needs.
• Reviews, evaluates, and improves business logic and data sources.
• Mentors and coaches staff, and supports analysis questions.
• Ensures accuracy and clarity of work products.
• Reviews regulatory reporting requirements and project documentation.
• Maintains reporting service level benchmarks.
• Represents Medical Economics in cross-departmental meetings.
• Serves as liaison between EIM and Medical Economics for reporting needs.
• Creates reports for strategic, profitability, financial analysis, utilization, and medical management.
• Maintains positive interactions with Health Plan and Corporate personnel.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Required Experience

• 3 years management or team leadership experience.
• 10 years’ work experience, preferably in claims processing or healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of SQL 2005/2008 SSRS and Power BI report development.
• Familiarity with relational database concepts and SDLC.

Preferred Education

Master's Degree in related fields.

Preferred Experience

3–5 years supervisory experience.

Additional Details

• Pay Range: $88,453 - $206,981 annually.
• Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, education, and skills.
