Job Description
Job Summary

Collects, validates, analyzes, and organizes data into meaningful reports for management decision-making. Designs, develops, tests, and deploys reports for operational and strategic analysis.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Manages and oversees Medical Economics Team activities and personnel.
  • Provides technical expertise and maintains relationships with operational leaders and staff.
  • Directs staff on projects, manages work plans, and ensures reporting needs are met.
  • Responsible for staff performance, coaching, development, and career growth.
  • Manages daily data management, tools, and technology work streams.
  • Allocates new report and project requests, coordinating with the team.
  • Reviews and improves business logic and data sources.
  • Mentors staff and reviews work products for accuracy and clarity.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and maintains service level benchmarks.
  • Represents the department in cross-departmental meetings and liaises with Health Plan and Corporate personnel.
  • Creates reports for strategic analysis, profitability, financial metrics, utilization, and medical management.
Job Qualifications
Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Required Experience
  • At least 3 years of management or team leadership experience.
  • Preferably 10 years of work experience in claims processing or healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL 2005/2008 SSRS and Power BI report development.
  • Familiarity with relational database concepts and SDLC.
Preferred Education

Master's Degree in related fields.

Preferred Experience

3-5 years of supervisory experience.
