CVS Health is seeking a data analytics professional to support the West Virginia Finance team. The role supports the West Virginia Finance team by delivering reporting, analytics, and business insights that help improve operational performance, inform strategic decision-making, and strengthen plan financial and operational performance. This position partners with peers, leadership, and other cross‑functional teams to identify business needs, analyze data, and develop reporting solutions that support cost management, compliance, and market competitiveness. This individual will be responsible for supporting and advancing several critical areas of work, including recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, responding to rate setting and audit requests, member and financial variance analysis, capitation support and managing ad‑hoc requests as needed.
The position is responsible for leveraging technology and data to improve workflows and support business decision‑making.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical, analytical and problem‑solving skills, experience working with healthcare or network‑related data, and the ability to translate business needs into clear reporting and insights.
Must have in‑depth knowledge of SQL.
Preferred expertise includes BigQuery, SSRS, Power BI, or similar reporting and analytics platforms, along with experience building dashboards, automating reporting processes, and supporting data‑driven business initiatives.
This role requires an individual who can work independently, lead initiatives with minimal oversight, and proactively drive meaningful changes that improve reporting, analytics, and business processes. Must be able to complete daily required tasks while being responsive to immediate requests.
