What you'll be doing:

As the Manager of Mechanical Engineering at NVIDIA, you’ll spearhead innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology.

You will:
  • Lead a world‑class team of mechanical engineers to successfully implement groundbreaking designs and solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across multiple functions to determine and define project requirements, ensuring flawless completion of the work you’re doing.
  • Apply your demonstrated expertise in coordinating the development of detailed mechanical systems for our ambitious AI, robotics, and self‑driving car initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, following established industry standards.
  • Mentor and develop talent within your team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative atmosphere that enables every person to thrive.
What we need to see:
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience); a Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred.
  • 10+ overall years of experience
  • Successful track record in a leadership capacity in mechanical engineering, preferably in high‑tech or AI‑focused industries.
  • Outstanding skills in mechanical design, CAD software, and engineering analysis tools.
  • A track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience leading teams involved in designing mechanical systems.
