Job summary

Avnet is seeking a Manager, Material Operations in Tempe, AZ for a hybrid, full-time role. You will supervise daily team activities across returns, credits, warranty repairs, and billing, while driving process improvements and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Logistics, and Sales.

You will coach staff, set performance objectives, ensure service levels and SOX/SOC compliance, and develop standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy in material flows.

Qualifications

• Typically 6+ years of experience with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and prioritize daily team activities across Customer Returns, RMA credits, and PRN resolution.
• Lead warranty repairs, factory drop ship billing, and SOX/SOC audit support.
• Build an agile, cross-functional workforce to support multiple operational processes.
• Develop team members through coaching and career development planning.
• Ensure service levels, metrics, and compliance are consistently achieved.
• Establish process documentation and standard operating procedures.
