Qualifications

The Manager, Marketing Operations, will be responsible for external expert engagement opportunities, commercial program and service contract management for AbbVie’s oncology portfolio. The successful candidate will closely collaborate with the U.S. Oncology Brand, Legal, Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC), Field Operations, Field Sales, Central Consultancy Group (CCG), Finance, Purchasing, IT, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Vendor Management to execute commercial program and service requests.

The Manager, Marketing Operations is responsible for overseeing daily business operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring execution against organizational goals. This role partners with cross-functional teams to improve processes, support operational excellence, and help deliver consistent business results.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth workflow execution
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational processes and procedures
  • Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvement
  • Manage resources, budgets, and operational planning activities
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to support business priorities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and applicable regulations
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
  • Support employee development, coaching, and performance management activities
  • Prepare reports, analyses, and recommendations for leadership
  • Lead initiatives that improve productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years applicable work experience in project management or operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Highly self-motivated, detailed and results-oriented; able to manage own schedule, work independently, track activities and expenditures
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Possesses strong project management, verbal, written and professional skills
  • Track record of planning, executing and delivering results for complex and cross-functional projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate and partner with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Comfortable with last-minute requests and changes
  • Can thrive in an environment with some ambiguity
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities and work independently
  • Easily able to learn various new programs and processes
  • Strong technical mindset with a knack for understanding and applying technical solutions to business challenges
  • Highly analytical with the ability to leverage data-driven insights for strategic planning and decision-making

Preferred:

  • Backgroundwith Contracts (Master Service Agreement, Statement of Work, and Work Order)
  • Experience withfunding requirements for Healthcare Organizations and Healthcare Providers
  • Familiarity with Group Purchasing Organizations
  • History providing support to suppliers and resolvingpayment challenges
  • Proficiencyof AbbVie policies, procedures, culture, and other brand team operations
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Knowledge and experience in hematologyand solid tumormarkets
  • Continuous Improvement and/or Change Management skills
  • Familiarity with launching technology and tools to improve operational efforts
