Overview

We are looking for a Manager, Marketing, Culture & Social to help us grow our business and elevate our brand perception in Japan. If you have marketing experience with a global brand, and a passion for new technology, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize creative, culture-driven marketing campaigns to further strengthen Tinder’s brand relevance and emotional connection with Gen Z in Japan
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing activity for Tinder with ‘Always-on’ approach
  • Drive user growth by leveraging social media, culture, viral elements, stunt activations, and impact-driven marketing campaigns
  • Translate Gen-Z trends into user-first experiences and stay current with cultural trend to tackle brand problem in creative approach
  • Directly/Indirectly manage day to day marketing operations on social, digital
  • Own logistics of project plans including timelines, budgets, and reports
Qualifications
  • 4~6 years of experience in social media, content or cultural marketing including events activations within industries such as youth culture and consumer tech
  • Deeply passionate about Gen-Z culture in Japan, and can leverage those insights into compelling, high-impact brand narratives and experiences
  • Skilled in effectively leveraging external resources (agencies and partners) to achieve desired business outcomes and engage target audiences
  • Proven track record of managing multiple, complex tasks simultaneously
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and works with autonomy, creativity, and a strong sense of ownership
  • A great teammate, who holds themselves and others accountable
  • Feel personally connected to Tinder and Match Group’s mission to spark meaningful connections for every single person
  • Communicate fluently in Japanese and English
