Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island in Brooklyn, NY, seeks a Manager of Marketing, Communications and External Affairs to lead strategic marketing initiatives and public relations for a nonprofit organization.

The Manager, Marketing, Communications and External Affairs is responsible for the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives, media relations, internal and external communications, and funder engagement. This role ensures consistent brand messaging, drives public awareness, and builds strong relationships with community, media, and funders to advance the mission and visibility of the organization.

• Understanding of how to segment audiences and tailor messaging across demographics and platforms.
• Familiarity with editorial planning, content calendars, copywriting, and multimedia storytelling.
• Strong organizational skills to oversee timelines, teams, vendors, and deliverables simultaneously.
• Ability to build relationships with media outlets and secure earned coverage.
• Competency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Skilled in working across departments to support communications needs and unify messaging.

Full-Time, 35 hours per week

On-site role with occasional travel required

Pay range: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually
