Qualifications

• Work experience in a Manufacturing Environment or Food or Beverage.
• Experience supervising exempt and non-exempt associates.
• Manufacturing operations experience.
• Able to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.
• Familiar with HACCP, ISO Standards, Six Sigma, and Lean Principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SAP, CONA, SharePoint, PHRED, Kronos is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and capable of mentally retaining details of events.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and motivate a team to deliver results with safety, quality, and deadlines.
• Check production, quality, and maintenance output and submit progress reports.
• Facilitate cross-functional team meetings and ensure safe use of equipment.
• Plan and manage resources and coordinate resolutions to interruptions.
• Train new employees on machinery, procedures, and standard work.
• Set and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
• Maintain staffing schedules and organize workflow.

Locations: Charlotte

Pay Range: $86,000.00 - $92,166 Salaried, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10pm to 7:30am and weekend rotation required.

Job Overview

The Manager Manufacturing Shift will provide training, coaching, and guidance to functional front-line leaders and/or hourly associates on one or multiple shifts; ensure the proper execution of the daily work activities that drive quality, efficiency, safety, service, and cost performance in a manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for focusing on the current week; coordinating the application of performance tools and methodologies to enhance rapid, ongoing, measurable improvements; Day-to-Day Production, Quality and Maintenance team Operations as assigned; setting and communicating daily weekly, and monthly objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and motivate a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, including quality and customer satisfaction; safety practices, and deadlines; engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implement continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; embody company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership.
• Check production, quality, and maintenance output according to specifications, submit reports on performance and progress while identifying issues in efficiency and suggesting improvements.
• Facilitate cross-functional team meetings within an environment of trust and engagement and ensure the safe use of equipment and schedules regular maintenance.
• Plan and manage resources and coordinate immediate resolutions to work process interruptions to meet period results.
• Train new employees in how to safely use machinery, follow procedures and continuously validate conformity and effectiveness to standard work practices.
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicate these objectives to employees.
• Maintain staffing schedules and organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain; Business Administration or related field
• Knowledge acquired through 5 - 7 years of work experience.
• Food or Beverage industry experience
