This leadership role is designed for an experienced professional who is both a technical project leader and a dedicated people manager.The core mission of this position is to help us drive our own growth with safety and quality. The Manager will achieve this by leading a team of engineers to execute high-impact capital and continuous improvement projects across the site. This role requires a strategic mindset to identify opportunities, the project management expertise to drive them to completion, and the leadership skills to develop and guide a high-performing technical team. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering.**What You’ll Do:*** Lead Capital and Improvement Projects: Manage the full lifecycle of capital projects, from initial concept and justification to implementation and qualification. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost across manufacturing processes.* Manage and Develop a Team: Provide direct leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of manufacturing engineers. Foster professional growth by setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development.* Drive Strategic Initiatives: Develop and execute a long-term strategy for process and equipment improvements. Identify and implement solutions leveraging methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and FMEA to improve yield and reduce variation.* Enhance Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Quality, and R&D. Lead collaborative efforts to resolve complex production and engineering challenges.* Ensure Engineering Excellence: Drive accountability for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and responding effectively to customer needs. Ensure all processes, policies, and training requirements are robustly defined and followed by the team.**What We Seek:*** Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.* A minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex engineering projects in a high-volume manufacturing environment.* Demonstrated experience in a people management or formal team leadership role, with a passion for developing technical talent.Strong project management skills with experience leading capital projects and business continuity initiatives. Ability to think strategically and develop a multi-year vision while executing a tactical plan. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence at all levels of the organization.
