What you can expect:

Manufacturing Manager - Marlborough, MA: Plans, organizes, and directs manufacturing operations with the responsibility to ensure the demand for products meets the revenue and service requirements across multiple divisions.

What we expect:

  • Manage the entire Manufacturing Operations team
  • Establish career planning and annual objectives for all manufacturing employees
  • Mentor talent and drive the performance management process for the department by goal setting and alignment of metrics
  • Plan and coordinate capacity, manufacturing activities, and personnel into an integrated organization to meet actual and forecasted product delivery schedules and productivity targets
  • Implement strategic Key Performance Indicators (KPI) countermeasures and ensure long term sustainable results
  • Determine and communicate changes to the production plans that react to increases or decreases in demand
  • Implement system enhancements to provide users (Production, Materials, Purchasing and Distribution) with additional tools and information
  • Ensure that quality procedures are adhered to and the quality objectives are maintained in order to meet the established standards of the finished product
  • Monitor and drive continuous improvement utilizing operational excellence systems and tools
  • Understand the capacity, capability and constraints of processes and how key product characteristics are measured and controlled
  • Work with R&D, Mfg. Eng., and other disciplines in detailed discussions of NPD, process improvement, and problem solving

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years manufacturing experience in a leadership role

The annualized base salary range for this role is $118,000 to $160,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
