Job summary

Menasha Corporation seeks a seasoned Maintenance and Engineering Manager to lead the maintenance department, control costs, supervise contractor work, and drive improvements across production equipment and facilities.

You will build a high-performing team, manage preventive and predictive maintenance, oversee capital projects, apply lean principles, and partner with production and quality teams to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical management or plastics engineering is required.
• 2–5 years experience in plastics or fabrication environments are preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant work experience in maintenance/engineering is required.
• Experience with injection molding, tooling management and facility maintenance is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and engineering teams focused on safety, quality, service and efficiency.
• Oversee corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance for production equipment and facilities.
• Plan and execute capital improvement projects, equipment installations and facility upgrades.
• Apply lean principles to maintenance processes to minimize waste and increase throughput.
• Use data collection to evaluate downtime and implement corrective actions to improve metrics.
• Maintain spend forecasts and approve monthly maintenance and repair spend.
• Organize, lead, and track capital projects and cross-functional collaboration with production and quality.

About The Opportunity

Manage all aspects of the maintenance department and engineering, including managing maintenance costs, contractor-performed maintenance, regular and preventive maintenance, and new equipment installations and improvements.

• Build, lead, and train a cohesive team for maintenance and engineering employees focused on company objectives of safety, quality, service, and efficiency.
• Oversee all corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities for production equipment and facility systems.
• Oversee the design, planning, and execution of capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
• Drive and apply lean principles to the maintenance processes to minimize waste and increase the throughput.
• Use data collection processes to evaluate unplanned downtime and implement corrective actions to drive metric improvements.
• Maintain spend forecast and approve monthly R&M spend for the facility.
• Organize, lead, and track capital projects.
• Partner with production and quality teams to introduce new processes, improve existing equipment, and support operational excellence.
• Maintain facility standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification

Level Required: Bachelor's Degree - Technical Management or Plastics Engineering

RJG Training Certifications - Systematic

Level Desired: Master's Degree

Work Experience

Required:

• 5-10 years of relevant work experience
• 2-5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment

Desired:

• Experience in injection molding, tooling management, and facility maintenance
