Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Manager Maintenance Cement II at the Holly Hill, SC plant. This leadership role oversees mechanical, reliability, electrical maintenance, engineering, projects, and plant services to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will develop maintenance plans, coach staff, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with internal customers across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or years of equivalent experience required.
• Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5-7 years of management experience in cement or similar industrial facility.
• SAP experience strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical expertise in maintenance, reliability, and electrical maintenance departments.
• Oversee maintenance to achieve KPIs and coordinate with internal customers.
• Plan major maintenance projects and develop capital investment recommendations.
• Develop, coach, and train maintenance staff; manage department budgets.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of this position is to provide leadership and technical expertise in the mechanical, reliability, and electrical maintenance departments, as well as engineering, projects, and plant services.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies as well as instilling safety culture in the workforce; ensures housekeeping is a daily priority.
• Participate as an integral member of the plant leadership team to create a high performance
• Provide leadership and technical expertise on maintenance related matters.
• Oversee the maintenance department to achieve key performance indicators; communicate with and coordinate planning and resources with primary internal customers.
• Align maintenance plans to achieve key performance indicators and/or market demand.
• Plan major maintenance projects and develop capital investment recommendations for the plant.
• Provide leadership, coaching, training, and development to all employees in the maintenancedepartment.
• Responsible for development, oversight, and effective management of department budgets.
• Analyze overall performance of the operation and communicate results with appropriate team members to drive continuous improvement. Ensure optimization and execution of all maintenance resources.
• Optimize overall equipment effectiveness at the lowest sustainable cost of maintenance
• Perform statistical analysis, prepare reports, and maintain appropriate department records and files as required.
• Other duties, as assigned.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree or years of equivalent experience

Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering

Required Work Experience: 5-7 Years of management experience in the cement or similar industrial facility

Required Technical Skills: SAP experience strongly desired

Travel Requirements: Some travel required

Additional Requirements:

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
