Job summary

Tower Health's Reading Hospital seeks a Hospital Safety Professional to ensure regulatory readiness and risk management across the system. You will drive compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and state health regulations, and supervise life-safety staff.

Bachelor's degree is required; CHSP/CHFM/CHFSP certification within 1 year of hire is expected. Strong leadership and communications skills are essential for success in this role.

Job Summary

• This role maintains continuous survey readiness for the hospital system through compliance with regulations from a number of regulatory agencies, including The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
• Maintains records for Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies (including compliance library).
• Oversees Facilities Department work order system (acts as local administrator).
• Supervises CMMS and life safety compliance personnel for the system.
