Job summary

Clio is seeking a Manager, Legal Architecture, SMB to build and lead a six-person team of Legal Architects, focused on bringing legal credibility to Clio’s SMB sales motion. This remote role is centered in Chicago, with the Director of Legal Architecture as a reporting line and collaboration across Velocity, Strategic, Mid Market, and Government segments.

Qualifications

• JD with practicing experience and ability to lead other former lawyers.
• Proven ability to manage or lead a GTM, sales, consulting, or legal-tech team.
• Strong track record in client-facing scenarios and handling objections.
• Familiarity with AI applications in legal drafting and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow the Legal Architecture team with six Legal Architects across segments.
• Define the coverage model and manage capacity and demand.
• Lead strategic accounts, demos, and product launches hands-on.
• Scale enablement with reusable demos, playbooks, and content.
• Translate field insights into product direction with cross-functional partners.
• Oversee forecasting, pipeline reviews, and ensure quality and vetting.
