Job summary

Dr. Reddy’s is seeking a Manager Demand Planning to join the North America Supply Chain team. The role is based in person (Hybrid) at our Princeton, NJ office.

You will review trends, build forecasts, and coordinate with Sales, Marketing and Finance to drive accurate demand projections and inventory planning. The position requires strong analytics and experience in forecasting with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply chain or related field.
• 5+ years of experience for Master’s, 7+ years for Bachelor’s in demand planning/forecasting.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in planning and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data and evaluate results.
• Coordinate between cross-functional teams to reconcile variances and refine the forecast model.
• Interact with sales, marketing and finance to understand demand drivers and forecast inputs.
• Develop multi-level forecasts for multiple time horizons and create consensus forecasts with stakeholders.
• Provide input to inventory strategies and collaborate with supply planning for new products or phase-outs.
• Maintain data and reports including forecast accuracy and bias; prepare status updates for leadership.
• Leverage AI capabilities to automate processes and enhance forecasting accuracy.

Job Description

We are seeking Manager Demand Planning to join our North America Supply Chain team. The role will be based in person (Hybrid) at our Princeton, NJ office.

Responsibilities

• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, integrate statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
• Coordinate between cross-functional teams to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
• Interact with sales, marketing, and finance teams to understand demand forecast drivers
• Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function
• Generate a consensus forecast by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
• Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
• Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning
• Conduct Monthly Meetings with Customers
• Prepare and provide status updates to the Planning Head in all review meetings
• Identify areas of improvement while continuing to assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities
• Interact regularly with global supply chain teams to ensure alignment in priorities
• Special project, when identified or requested, automation of existing process, data management for FTS, Co-ordinate and prepare data for monthly S&O.
• Identify the key molecules which affected the forecast accuracy & publish the results on monthly basis.
• Implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy to achieve targets agreed with management
• Maintain Database for the reports like Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Forecast Fidelity, New Business Bids, Data for S&O etc.
• Provide support in developing seasonal demand forecasts along with customers promotional event volumes.
• Collate data from Bids, RFP, OTB’s & Customers Event / promotions, use it for demand generation.
• Integrate demand volumes with latest estimate volumes and value to arrive to sale value for rolling 18-24 months.
• Complete special projects and assignments as requested.
• Leverage emerging AI capabilities to identify opportunities for process automation, improve demand planning analysis and insights, and enhance forecasting a decision-making efficiency.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Business, Supply chain or other relevant fields

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience for Master and 7 years of experience for Bachelor degree with relevant experience in a demand planning/forecasting/supply planning role.

Attributes & Skills

• Capability to work with large datasets and develop diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics models
• MS Office knowledge is must
