American Airlines Inc. is seeking a Labor Relations professional to support management across multiple corporate departments in labor matters at our Fort Worth location.

You will manage disputes, negotiate resolutions with unions, and help administer labor agreements for assigned groups, including handling grievances up to arbitration; travel may be required as part of the role.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IR, or related field or equivalent experience
• 5 years experience in HR, Labor Relations, or unionized operations
• 2 years in supervisory/management role
• Experience or training in early dispute resolution strategy
• Preferred: contract administration and negotiation experience
• Preferred: advanced HR degree or HR certification

• The job is a member of the Labor Relations Team within the Corporate Affairs Division.
• Responsible for maintaining working partnerships with operational areas, which have organized work groups for the purpose of implementing, maintaining, and administering collective bargaining agreements.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or related field or equivalent experience/training
• 5 years experience in HR, Labor Relations, or operational management of unionized employees
• 2 years in a supervisory/management position
• Experience or formal training in early dispute resolution strategy

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Previous contract administration and negotiation experience
• Advanced degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or related field or Human Resources certification

• Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels
• Ability to quickly respond to change and communicate new directions to client groups
