Executive Director of Talent Acquisition, Data Analytics; Data Science; Quantitative Research at TalentHunter

Our client is hiring a manager who is familiar with economics, consulting, statistics, financial analysis, and litigation.

This role is based in Charlotte, NC, and requires onsite presence 5 days a week.

Must have experience with SAS enterprise and consulting in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Review legal documents and collaborate with colleagues and counsel to determine data requirements for case claims.
  2. Develop quantitative approaches to address case claims.
  3. Program proficiently in SAS, utilizing advanced features such as loops, arrays, macros, and PROC SQL.
  4. Understand common data structures and formats.
  5. Assess data completeness and quality, and develop strategies for data insufficiencies.
  6. Utilize Excel for computational and graphical purposes, including creating linked, self-updating models with user-defined parameters.
  7. Organize data from multiple sources and anticipate updates proactively.
  8. Ensure 100% accuracy in programs and outputs.
  9. Prepare reports, presentations, and exhibits to communicate quantitative findings.
  10. Explain complex issues to non-technical audiences, including clients.
  11. Manage and mentor junior staff.
Job Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, or related quantitative fields; master’s degree preferred.
  2. 5-8 years of experience in a high-demand consulting environment.
  3. 5-8 years of SAS programming experience.
  4. At least 5 years of experience in data validation, processing, and analysis, with litigation consulting experience highly preferred.
  5. Proficiency in SAS programming and complex data analysis; knowledge of additional programming languages is a plus.
  6. Strong Excel skills, including building dynamic exposure models.
  7. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  8. Ability to handle unexpected client requests and adapt to changing priorities.
  9. Understanding of economic damages and statistical concepts.
  10. Knowledge of labor and employment law and the legal framework is a plus.
