Itron is seeking a senior BI leader to oversee the design, development, and delivery of enterprise BI solutions. You will manage a team of BI developers and analysts, ensuring timely dashboards, reports, and data models that meet business needs.

The role is based in the United States with hybrid work options, including two remote days per week, and collaboration across Finance, Operations, Customer Service, and Manufacturing to advance analytics and governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Three years of IT solutions delivery, application development, or related technical role.
• Three years using Power BI for reporting and analytics.
• Three years using ETL tools and data integration processes.
• Three years with SQL or relational database management.
• Three years with the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Two years using Cloud platforms for data processing and analytics.
• Two years developing or supporting enterprise data warehouses.
• Two years with SSIS or an equivalent ETL platform.
• One year working with API-based integrations and REST services.
• One year using version control systems.
• One year applying Agile or Scrum project methodologies.

Job Description

Oversee the design, development, and delivery of business intelligence solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization. Manage a team of Bl developers and analysts, ensuring timely and quality delivery of dashboards, reports, and data models. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define Bl strategy, and implement best practices for data governance and analytics. Key responsibilities include project planning, resource allocation, performance monitoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in Bl capabilities. Oversee IT solutions delivery for enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards. Lead a team responsible for application development, integration, and maintenance across multiple platforms. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable solutions. Develop and maintain enterprise data models supporting analytics, operational reporting, and executive dashboards. Oversee integration of data from multiple enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization. Establish and enforce technical standards, coding best practices, and solution-delivery methodologies across the Bl and IT Solutions Delivery teams. Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to improve solution performance and enhance Bl and application-delivery capabilities. Partner with cross-functional leaders in Finance, Operations, Customer Service, and Manufacturing to design technology solutions supporting strategic initiatives. Manage vendor relationships, including software providers, integration partners, and support organizations, ensuring adherence to contractual and performance expectations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as automation of manual processes, enhancement of data quality, and optimization of reporting pipelines. Ensure all solutions comply with corporate security, data privacy policies, and regulatory requirements. Position is fixed based in West Union, SC office; however, telecommuting from a home office may be allowed up to 2 days per week.

Job Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a directly related field plus three (3) years of IT solutions delivery, application development, or a related technical role. Experience must include:

Three (3) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Power Bl for reporting and analytics
• ETL tools and data integration processes
• SOL and relational database management
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle

Two (2) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Cloud platforms for data processing and analytics
• Developing or supporting enterprise data warehouses
• SOL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or equivalent ETL platform

One (1) year of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• APl-based integrations and REST services
• Version control systems
• Agile or Scrum project methodologies
