The SAP Technical Manager is responsible for managing a team of SAP ABAP developer and integration developer in the areas of design, analysis, development/coding, testing, debugging and documenting programming assignments to satisfy business requirements. The primary job with this role is focusing on the software development lifecycle for new software solutions and supporting existing ones already in production.
FARO’s Global Business Systems is seeking a hands‑on, dynamic and seasoned Manager IT, SAP Technical to lead Development and Integration CoE team and partner with cross‑functional business functions to deliver sustainable SAP platform solutions supporting the FARO’s core business processes.
This role is responsible for all aspects of SAP technical initiatives in the organization and will lead a diverse team (SAP ABAP Developer, and Integration Developers) leading efficient delivery of business‑driven SAP programs and day‑to‑day (operational and tactical) business needs. The individual must have hands‑on expertise in ABAP ECC 6.0, S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and Fiori and should focus on translating functional requirements into technical requirements enabling SAP platform‑based business solutions successfully.
This role requires a blend of leadership, business acumen, relationship management, business process understanding, project planning, project execution, application maintenance skills and is responsible for leading a full range of activities across one or more programs or projects with varying degree if complexity and scope, while partnering with internal customers and other stakeholders.
This position provides strong technical expertise in SAP architecture, development, and integration, along with leadership skills to manage a team of SAP professionals and collaborate with business stakeholders, while leading entire SDLC cycle to address project needs involving commercial and supporting teams with an aptitude to successfully and timely completion of all tasks/projects under direct and matrix environment.
This role will be the part of FARO’s team in Lake Mary, Florida, but would consider other FARO_Creaform locations in US or Canada. This is considered a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. The salary range for the position is $145,000- $175,000.
