This role acts as a key bridge between IT and business teams, enabling scalable, well‑governed data integrations across internal systems and external partners. The role serves as the primary IT owner of Data Integrator relationships and oversees integrations with CROs, Specialty Pharmacies, commercial ecosystem partners, and other partner integrations.

Major Accountabilities

  • Lead technical integration discussions with Data Integrators, including data mapping, file specifications, and connectivity requirements.
  • Manage vendor performance reviews and roadmap alignment for all commercial data partners and other partners.
  • Coordinate data integrations with CROs (Contract Research Organizations), ensuring clinical‑to‑commercial data flows are compliant and fit‑for‑purpose.
  • Oversee integrations with Specialty Pharmacies, Hub vendors, 3PLs, other commercial partners and any other partner.
  • Design, build, and maintain API integrations across core systems (e.g., Data Aggregators, Commercial Systems, ERP, CRM, LIMS, and external vendors).
  • Manage and optimise databases and cloud data platforms, including Azure, SharePoint, SQL, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end data flows, storage, and access controls across enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure high availability and performance of data platforms.
  • Coordinate data integrations with external vendors and service providers.
  • Define, implement, and maintain data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
  • Manage master data and metadata, including data models, lineage, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards (e.g., GxP, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections through well‑maintained data documentation and controls.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance and Privacy Teams to ensure appropriate data use agreements are in place with all external vendors and data integrators.
  • Monitor and continuously improve data quality, resolving data issues proactively.
  • Maintain data documentation, metadata repositories, and lineage records.
  • Provide data stewardship guidance and promote best practices across business functions.
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions on data governance and data quality principles.
  • Act as a key technical partner to commercial and business teams, supporting data requests, enhancements, and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate closely with IT colleagues, business analysts, and data stewards to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Support data‑driven decision‑making by ensuring trusted, well‑structured data assets.
