Manager IT Applications – Epic Ambulatory and Population Health

As the Manager IT Applications – Epic Ambulatory and Population Health, you will play a critical leadership role at the intersection of technology and care transformation. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead high‑impact initiatives using Epic’s Ambulatory and Healthy Planet platforms, driving population health strategy, advancing value‑based program management, and enabling clinicians with the tools they need to deliver proactive, coordinated care. This role is also instrumental in supporting consumerism to enhance how patients connect to care, navigate services, and experience continuity across the care continuum.

You will lead a talented team supporting mission‑critical applications that power ambulatory care and population health programs across the health system. From optimizing workflows to enabling new models of care and payer collaboration, your work will directly influence quality, outcomes, and patient experience.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or relevant fields of study (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree)
  • Epic Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, Value‑Based Program Management experience
  • Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer‑service orientation
  • 5-7 years experience in a related field
Job Responsibilities
  • Complete staff performance recommendations on time.
  • Recommend disciplinary action or promotion path as appropriate.
  • Manage project resources appropriately to ensure quality of work life balance.
  • Provide team leadership to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget within the project schedule.
  • Remove barriers to ensure projects and initiatives move forward on schedule.
  • Escalate concerns appropriately while providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Perform definition, preliminary analysis, resource planning, project scheduling and develop project plans utilizing current methodologies and standards.
  • When appropriate provide input related to project budget planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure that project solutions, system acquisitions and modifications meet the goals and objectives of the requesting department.
  • Provide guidance and direction to team members to ensure quality procedures, techniques and standards are followed.
  • Uncompensated, on call is expected in this position per the Information Systems On Call Policy
