The Manager IT Applications responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Work directly with the Commercial business team to gather requirements and align technology with business strategy and goals.
2. Extensive knowledge of energy trading and risk management processes across front, middle, and back-office functionalities.
3. Manage the team, model behavior and service standards, ensure service expectations are understood, and promote employee engagement, process improvement, and workplace safety. Perform employee evaluations and career development plans.
4. Develop and support effective team interactions through open and honest communication, fostering an environment for professional growth.
5. Responsible for the development, implementation, and support of systems, processes, and technologies within EQT's Application portfolio. Establish strong relationships with IT and business partners to create value through innovative solutions in an Agile environment.
6. Execute all aspects of EQT's Agile IT environment, including planning, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
7. Collaborate with team members and leaders across departments on strategic initiatives.
8. Work closely with IT and business teams to create and implement industry-leading solutions.
9. Demonstrate successful project leadership skills.
10. Manage third-party vendors.
11. Manage the Commercial IT Budget to ensure cost-effectiveness.
12. Manage and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.

Required Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 9+ years of relevant IT experience.
• At least 3 years supervising application implementations and project teams.
• Experience with Openlink Endur products.
• Strong understanding of project management techniques.
• Experience creating and executing Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Ability to work effectively with managed service providers and vendors.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Experience developing ETRM product customizations.
• Understanding of trade lifecycle across various asset classes.
• Knowledge of physical and financial instruments.
• Functional understanding of ETRM modules.
• Deep knowledge of ETRM system architecture, APIs, and data models.
• Experience integrating ETRM with other enterprise systems.
• Experience with Cloud technologies.
