Job summary

Intuitive Surgical, Inc. is seeking a Manager, IT Applications to lead the management, maintenance and end-user support of Global Operations applications, including SAP and other supply chain systems.

You will oversee project delivery, resource allocation, vendor management and cross-functional collaboration to optimize performance. The role requires strong leadership and technical skills, a track record in supply chain processes, and a focus on driving change, efficiency and scalable solutions

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years experience of Implementing and supporting SAP and other supply chain solutions is required.
• Three or more years of experience as a people leader is required.
• In depth knowledge of business processes in the areas of Supply chain Planning, Procurement and Logistics is required.
• Experience with E2E Supply Chain processes (e.g., Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Management) is desired.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing or high tech Industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organization.

• Identify and participate in prioritization of business capabilities and act as a catalyst for building mature and scalable processes.
• Coaching and teaching: Teaches reports to perform current job tasks and provides coaching and development for 1-2 years out
• Accountability: Accountable for team goals and for other managers and individuals on the team - creative in succeeding
• Personal commitment: Recognizes potential team issues, proposed solutions, and gains commitment of team and other peer managers.

Job Description

The Manager, IT Applications is responsible for the management, maintenance and end user support of our critical business applications that support Global Operations. The role involves project management, resource allocation, vendor management and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance. The Manager, IT Applications will stay informed about emerging technologies to drive innovation within the IT applications domain. We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target compensation ranges are listed.

Compensation

Base Compensation Range Region 1: $163,800 USD - $235,600 USD

Base Compensation Range Region 2: $139,200 USD - $200,300 USD

Workplace Type: Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
