The Institute for Child Health Policy (ICHP) at the University of Florida is seeking an IT Manager to support its External Quality Review Organization (EQRO) activities and other state-funded projects. This senior–level position oversees the development, maintenance, and enhancement of web–based applications, data systems, and technology infrastructure that support statewide Medicaid quality improvement, evaluation, and reporting activities. The successful candidate will lead application development initiatives, collaborate with faculty, project leaders, and technical staff to implement new features and system enhancements, and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of existing systems. This position serves as a key liaison between technical and non–technical stakeholders, translating business needs into effective technology solutions. This role will work closely with internal and external partners to support project objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure high–quality service delivery.
$136,000-$140,000

Experience supporting Medicaid and CHIP programs or healthcare quality improvement initiatives. Strong knowledge of information technology systems and services, including operating systems, web hosting, web application development, database management, server administration, and related technologies. Proficiency with the .NET framework and modern front–end development frameworks such as Angular and React. Demonstrated ability to learn and apply complex technical and business concepts in a healthcare or research environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with experience providing technical support and training to diverse stakeholders. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
