This role is suited to a commercially minded, analytically strong finance professional who can translate business performance and strategic priorities into clear, compelling external messaging.

The role sits at the intersection of capital markets, corporate strategy, financial performance and executive communications, with regular exposure to the CFO, executive leadership and Board-level materials. We are looking for a candidate who can operate with a high degree of independence, exercise sound judgement, and take ownership of critical investor relations workstreams.

The role involves leading the analysis and interpretation of financial performance, shaping investor messaging, managing the development of external communications materials, and supporting strategic initiatives that influence market perception and stakeholder confidence.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Investment Banking, Equity Research, Corporate Strategy or a related finance role, with the ability to fluently understand, analyse and communicate P&C insurance financial performance.

Responsibilities
  • Investor Materials: Lead the preparation and delivery of quarterly earnings materials, including presentations, press releases, scripts, Q&A documents and other communications for investors and analysts.
  • Organizational Preparedness: Maintain and continually enhance executive briefing materials, investor Q&A, key messages and preparation materials for earnings calls, investor meetings, conferences and Board discussions.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse underwriting, financial and capital performance to develop actionable insights, identify key themes and support external messaging around results, outlook and strategic progress.
  • Market Research: Lead peer benchmarking, analyst research review, investor sentiment tracking and market intelligence to inform positioning, valuation discussions and strategic decision-making by senior management.
  • Executive and Board Materials: Develop high-quality presentations and analysis for Board meetings, executive leadership discussions, investor meetings, conferences, roadshows and other strategic forums.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with investors, analysts and internal stakeholders, while managing investor targeting, ownership analysis and CRM processes to support effective engagement.
  • Event Coordination: Manage the planning and execution of investor events, including earnings calls, conferences, roadshows, investor days and ad hoc investor engagements.
  • Ad-hoc Strategic Projects: Lead or support strategic and capital markets projects, including analysis of corporate initiatives, capital allocation topics, and other executive priorities.
Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Communications.
  • Ability to understand, analyse and interpret P&C Insurance Financial Statements.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis, Equity Research, Competitive Intelligence, Buyside Investments, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy or a related finance role.
  • Strong executive presence and judgement, with the ability to communicate complex financial and strategic topics clearly to senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Strong research, problem-solving, data manipulation, and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, influence cross-functional partners and deliver high-quality outputs under tight public-company reporting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes, build scalable resources and raise the quality, consistency and impact of investor relations deliverables.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and discretion.
