Job description

This position reports to the Head of Investors Relations. You will be joining a team focused on operating a world-class investor relations program, helping to build and maintain relationships with the investment community and an enhanced understanding and appreciation for the company’s business model, strategy and investment merits. You will also serve as a key resource to internal stakeholders and a strategic contributor to the company’s planning and communications functions.

Manager, Investor Relations Responsibilities
  1. Serve as a key point of contact for Meta’s equity and debt investors to enhance their understanding of the company’s financial results, technology initiatives and long-term strategy.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare earnings commentary, disclosures, and other investor-facing materials.
  3. Provide strategic counsel to leadership on investor relations matters.
  4. Help drive Meta’s overall investor engagement strategy by owning regular analysis of Meta’s shareholder base and investor targeting exercises.
  5. Contribute to the planning and management of investor events (conferences, road shows, investor meetings), investor presentations, briefing materials, press releases, etc.
  6. Contribute to the process of evaluating and approving product, business and operations stats to be shared externally.
  7. Analyze analyst and investor commentary on the company as well as industry trends and practices. Communicate relevant insights to the IR team and leadership.
  8. Develop relationships and collaborate effectively with key internal stakeholders.
  9. Identify and communicate strategic and tactical ideas for the continuous improvement of the IR program.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to engage with investment stewardship teams.
  11. Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Head of Investor Relations in shaping the organization’s goals, strategic focuses and overall direction of Meta’s IR program.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. 12+ years of combined Wall Street (buy-side and/or sell-side) and Investor Relations experience.
  2. Thorough understanding of markets, financial statements and analysis, and technology trends.
  3. Proven communication and presentation skills. Can distill complex financial and business information into clear and succinct messages.
  4. Experience in conceptualizing a complex project and independently leading its successful execution.
  5. Proactive mindset, highly analytical, and detail-oriented. Can execute on both tactical and strategic projects.
  6. Operates with a sense of urgency and can deliver high quality work under tight deadlines with a high level of autonomy and reliability.
  7. Prioritization and organization skills, with experience effectively managing multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  8. Effective relationship-building skills and can quickly establish trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Credibility and gravitas, both with external and internal constituencies.
  10. Thorough knowledge of Reg FD and other SEC disclosure rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Investor relations work experience within a public fast-growing, consumer-oriented technology company.
