What Inventory Mgmt contributes to Cardinal Health
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, or until task complete
Assigns, directs, and monitors the daily cycle counting operations for counting, verifying, correcting and documenting the movement of all products into and out of the distribution center inventory to provide the best available inventory information for the customers who are placing orders for those products.
Assigns, directs, and monitors the processing of reports that are required for the movement of control products and narcotics as specified by DEA regulations.
Assigns, directs, and monitors DEA documentation validation and processing of class II customer returns.
Accountable for ensuring morgue operations adhere to vendor return policies, minimize the company's exposure on outdated, short-dated or internal damaged product, insuring MRA process is coded correctly and outdates are pulled according to policy, proper processing of salvageable product.
Assigns, directs, and monitors processing of recall items.
Assigns, directs, and monitors item profiling and item description maintenance as well as bar code maintenance, deleting and discontinuing items within the system.
Coordinates with other distribution center supervisors to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
Motivates employees to ensure that predetermined productivity and quality standards are achieved or exceeded.
Recommends modifications or innovative ideas to Distribution Center management in order to improve inventory control procedures.
Handles general employee inquiries and solves problems.
Conducts interviews and recommends applicants to Distribution Center management.
Completes and conducts performance appraisals on subordinates in conjunction with Distribution Center management.
Trains new employees.
Prepares and submits daily and weekly reports.
Ensures all company and government regulatory agencies' security, safety and housekeeping policies and practices are followed.
Maintains positive employee relations. Ensures that the corporation’s management principles, policies, and procedures are consistently practiced.
Ensures quality service is provided to customers.
