Job summary

AIG in New York seeks a Manager to support timely, and accurate completion of GI International financial reporting results, coordinate statutory reporting activities, and lead Balance Sheet optimization initiatives.

You will partner with regional controllership teams and Finance Transformation to drive improvements in reporting processes, strengthen controls, and ensure alignment across the controllership organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in financial reporting, accounting, or controllership at a public company.
• Experience with IFRS and statutory reporting coordination.
• Strong Excel and data accuracy required.
• Big 4 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate timely, accurate financial reporting results and disclosures for quarterly and annual requirements.
• Coordinate updates with regional finance teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Lead initiatives to strengthen Balance Sheet integrity and reconciliation quality.
• Governance across local statutory and IFRS reporting, with deadlines and filing timelines.
• Review and streamline reporting frameworks, controls, and efficiency.
• Partner with Finance transformation teams to implement enhanced reporting solutions.
