Jobtailor in New York, NY seeks a senior Regulatory Systems Lead to drive integration, deployment, and development initiatives aligned with regulatory and quality requirements.

You will partner with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, IT, and business teams to translate requirements into compliant system solutions, oversee changes, and support audits and inspections while ensuring data integrity and system usability across global operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, IT, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
  • 6–8 years of experience in regulatory systems or regulatory operations.
  • Experience supporting system integration, deployment, or development in regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory processes and data requirements.
  • Ability to translate regulatory and business needs into system solutions.
  • English language required.
  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries (preferred).
  • Familiarity with regulatory information management (RIM) systems or platforms (preferred).
  • Experience supporting audits or inspections involving regulatory systems (preferred).
  • Experience in global or matrixed organizations (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience driving system or process improvement initiatives (preferred).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills (preferred).
  • Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) or relevant certifications (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage regulatory system integration, deployment, and development initiatives.
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, IT, and business teams to define system requirements.
  • Support deployment and ongoing enhancement of regulatory systems and tools.
  • Ensure data integrity and usability of regulatory systems.
  • Oversee change management related to regulatory updates, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Ensure regulatory processes align with internal policies, quality system requirements, and regulations.
  • Support audits, inspections, and assessments related to regulatory systems and data.
  • Monitor regulatory and system-related changes and assess impacts on tools and workflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance regulatory system efficiency, scalability, and compliance.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline (required)

  • Typically 6–8 years of progressive experience in regulatory systems, regulatory operations, IT systems integration, or a related role within a regulated industry

  • Experience supporting system integration, deployment, or development initiatives in a compliance-driven environment

  • Strong understanding of regulatory processes and data requirements

  • Ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into system solutions

  • English language required

  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries (preferred)

  • Familiarity with regulatory information management (RIM) systems or related platforms (preferred)

  • Experience supporting audits or inspections involving regulatory systems (preferred)
