PwC is seeking a Manager - Insurance & Asset Wealth Management Data Architect to design scalable, secure AI architectures for the Insurance sector. You will lead architecture discovery, scope, and solution design for AI transformation programmes across underwriting, claims, pricing and risk functions, while embedding responsible AI and regulatory considerations.

Advise clients on AI adoption strategies, value realisation opportunities and target-state AI platform architectures that support long-term business objectives. Engage with senior client stakeholders to translate business challenges into practical AI solutions and support wider Insurance sector growth and go-to-market initiatives. Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise AI solutions within consulting or client-facing environments. Strong understanding of the insurance sector, including areas such as underwriting, claims, pricing, distribution, customer operations, finance or risk. Hands-on experience with Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and enterprise AI architecture. Experience designing solutions across Azure, AWS or GCP environments with knowledge of APIs, integration patterns and modern engineering practices. Strong understanding of responsible AI, security, governance, risk management and regulatory requirements within complex organisations. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience leading technical teams, workstreams or transformation programmes and translating business challenges into scalable AI solutions.
