Job summary

Deloitte’s Insurance AI delivery team seeks an AI Architect to lead enterprise-scale AI solutions, integrating LLM-based workflows and cloud-native designs across client projects. You will define blueprints, set architectural standards, and collaborate with business, security, and delivery teams to translate complex requirements into practical, scalable architectures.

Based in London with a flexible hybrid model, you’ll work with international clients shaping innovative insurance tech

Qualifications

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or related technical architecture roles.
• Hands-on experience designing AI and LLM-based solutions.
• Experience with agentic architectures including LLM integration, observability, and identity management.
• Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, event-driven integration, and cloud-native design patterns.
• Experience designing secure, scalable enterprise solutions and applying architecture standards across teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures embedding AI into enterprise systems.
• Establish architectural standards for LLM-based apps, agentic workflows, and context management.
• Evaluate AI platforms, frameworks, models, and tools for security and scalability.
• Develop blueprints covering components, interfaces, data flows, and integrations.
• Translate designs into requirements satisfying business, technical, security, and performance needs.
• Lead architecture reviews and design assessments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical designs.
• Manage portfolio of reusable technology solutions and patterns.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and integration constraints.
• Document decisions and implementation guidance.
