Job summary

LSU New Orleans seeks an experienced data reporting leader to supervise the generation of reports and direct production using SAS, SQL, Informatica, and Workday. You will ensure accuracy to promote data-driven decisions across the institution.

You will steer development, maintain the OIERP data warehouse, manage ETL processes, and produce external reports for regulatory bodies while mentoring analysts and enhancing BI systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Five or more years of experience in data management or reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in SAS or SQL.
• Experience providing data to non-data-background stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Steer the development and ongoing maintenance of the OIERP data warehouse and its student warehouse.
• Guarantee seamless data flow into the warehouse to support analysis and reporting.
• Manage the ETL system for OIERP/LSU New Orleans and streamline data integration.
• Develop external reports for state, federal agencies, and accreditation bodies.
• Evaluate data reports from analysts, ensuring quality and adherence to standards and provide feedback.
• Supervise enhancements to the BI data warehouse feeding the BI system.
• Undertake additional duties to support institutional goals.

Supervise the generation of data reports and direct the production of these reports using advanced statistical and reporting tools such as SAS, SQL, Informatica, and Workday. Ensure accuracy and reliability of the generated reports to promote data‑driven decision‑making across the institution.

Responsibilities

• Steer the development and ongoing maintenance of the OIERP data warehouse, including strategic planning and continuous enhancement of the student warehouse.
• Guarantee seamless data flow into the warehouse to support efficient analysis and reporting.
• Manage the ETL system for OIERP/LSU New Orleans, overseeing extract, transform, and load processes and streamlining data integration for optimized data management.
• Develop external reports for state, federal agencies, and accreditation bodies, presenting accurate and insightful data to regulatory entities.
• Evaluate data reports produced by other analysts, ensuring quality, coherence, and adherence to established standards, and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
• Supervise the enhancement of the data warehouse system that feeds the Business Intelligence System, ensuring smooth data flow and optimized BI effectiveness.
• Undertake additional duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to support the institution’s overarching goals.

Qualifications
