Overview:

Sentara Health is seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Manager to lead our Epic Radiant and Epic Cupid teams!

This leadership role requires a deep understanding of healthcare IT systems, particularly within the Epic ecosystem, and a proven ability to manage and mentor application teams. The IT Manager will oversee daily operations, support system implementations, upgrades, and troubleshoot issues for Epic Radiant (radiology) and Epic Cupid (cardiology) modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Epic Radiant and Epic Cupid teams, ensuring seamless integration, performance, and user support.
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes for Epic modules.
  • Collaborate with clinical and technical stakeholders to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and security protocols within the Epic ecosystem.
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to team members while promoting continuous improvement.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree: 5 years relevant experience with a degree, or 7 years relevant experience without a degree.

Certification/Licensure:

  • Epic certification (Radiant and/or Cupid) preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven experience with Epic Radiant and Epic Cupid modules.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Epic certification (Radiant and/or Cupid) preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare IT environment.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, including base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for full-time employment ranges from $116,729.60 to $216,777.60. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, shift incentives, or bonuses.
