Job summary

Procore Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Information Systems Engineering to lead our Network Infrastructure team and advance IT automation across the globe.

You will supervise engineers, drive reliability, and mentor growth while shaping technical roadmaps. In this hands-on leadership role, you will deploy and maintain on-premises network hardware, implement automation with Terraform/Ansible/Python, manage security controls, and collaborate with Security and DevOps to align

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex IT projects
• Solid networking fundamentals (switching, routing, BGP/OSPF)
• Familiarity with network security, zero trust concepts (firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN)
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (DataDog, Splunk, New Relic)

Job description

We're looking for a Manager, Information Systems Engineering to lead our Network Infrastructure team and drive our IT automation initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of our global connectivity. What You'll Do

• Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional growth through regular feedback and coaching.

• Manage the deployment and upkeep of on-premises network hardware, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.

• Implement IT automation workflows using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Python to streamline provisioning and configuration management.

• Maintain network security standards, including the management of firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN configurations to protect corporate data.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Security and DevOps to align infrastructure support with broader business objectives.

• Oversee incident response for network-related issues, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent future disruptions.

• Manage project timelines and resource allocation, ensuring that infrastructure upgrades and migrations are completed on schedule.

• Monitor system performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency within our network environment.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing and developing technical teams, driving accountability, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

• Demonstrated experience in managing complex IT projects and leading technical teams toward operational goals.

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including switching, routing (BGP/OSPF), and network segmentation.

• Familiarity with network security and zero trust concepts (e.g., firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and SSE/ZTNA platforms) with the ability to evaluate and support these technologies as part of the broader security strategy.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., DataDog, Splunk, or New Relic) to maintain system health visibility.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead the team through complex technical troubleshooting.

• Clear communication skills, capable of providing status updates to leadership and explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

• Design and implementation skills, with the ability to execute technical roadmaps and project plans effectively.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range

137,040.00 - 188,430.00 USD Annual

This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
