Position Summary

C2FO is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to lead our global information security program's strategy, operations, and governance. In this role, you will ensure that our data, systems, and customer information remain secure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, IT, legal, compliance, and product teams to implement best practices and foster a culture of security throughout the organization.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with C2FO’s business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security incident response processes.
  • Manage and continuously improve our security controls across infrastructure, applications, and data.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
  • Oversee third-party security assessments and vendor risk management.
  • Maintain and improve compliance with relevant frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Develop governance protocols for responsible AI use, deployment, and monitoring
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging threats to proactively adjust the security posture.
  • Lead internal security awareness and training programs.
  • Support audit, legal, and compliance teams with security-related matters and documentation.
  • Manage security tools, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of security professionals, including security administrators and engineers.
  • Assign priorities, provide technical and career guidance, and conduct regular performance reviews.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in information security, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven people management experience, including coaching, delegation, and team building.
  • Experience managing security programs and leading small technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of security architecture, cloud security (preferably AWS & GCP), and modern threat landscapes.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
  • Experience with tools such as SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, EDR, and identity/access management platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fintech or financial services environment.
  • Background in DevSecOps or securing cloud-native applications.
