Northrop Grumman Aeronautics System Sector is seeking a Manager Industrial Engineering 2 to support our Industrial Engineering Operations Management (IEOM) organization. The leader will join our team of qualified, diverse individuals on-site in Saint Augustine, FL.

The Manager of Industrial Engineering 2 will have the responsibility of working side by side with a team of individuals performing Industrial engineering and operations management tasks. The Manager will work closely with Operations Leadership including Directors/VPs by developing people, processes, and tools to help achieve all business targets, which will include the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 8-15 Industrial Engineers and Operations Project Managers across multiple sites.

• Provide technical and leadership support to the Industrial Engineering and operations management team.

• Drive strategic initiatives and tactical actions to improve program cost and schedule performance.

• Guide executive level decision-making on increasing assembly rate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

• Deliver on short-term, high visibility program requests while creating a vision and executing a long-term strategy.

• Coordinate the development and maintenance of manufacturing schedules and plans to ensure adequate resources are available on time.

• Analyze and design value streams, including capability, capacity, throughput, workflow, and logistics.

• Coach, mentor, and develop a team of industrial engineers by assigning meaningful tasks and providing feedback.

• Administer employee performance reviews, merit increases, promotions, and skills inventory.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years' experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related engineering experience OR a Master's Degree with 3 years' experience in the same fields.

• 2 years of proven experience leading teams and/or projects.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc).

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field.

• 7 years' experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related experience.

• Industrial Engineering experience or degree.

• 2 years of shop floor operations support experience.

• Experience/certifications in lean/process improvement.

• Experience with performance metrics of high-rate assembly lines.

• Innovative techniques focused on improving product designs and processes.

• Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Salary Range: $111,700 - $167,500
