Job summary

CFS in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Manager of Income Tax to lead corporate income tax compliance, ASC 740 provision work, and regulatory reporting for a large organization. You will collaborate with Finance, HR, Payroll, Legal, and Operations on a broad federal, state, local, Canadian, and international tax portfolio.

The role also involves mentoring a Tax Analyst, overseeing quarterly and annual tax provisions, and coordinating with external consultants and auditors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive corporate income tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740, federal corporate tax, and multi-state compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience preparing complex tax analyses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Federal, Canadian, state, and local income tax returns.
• Execute ASC 740 quarterly and annual tax provisions.
• Maintain tax workpapers, audit trails, reporting controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate tax filings, payments, and deliverables with external consultants and auditors.
• Research complex tax matters and communicate recommendations to leadership.
