What You Need To Know About The Job

The American Red Cross seeks a creative Manager, Incentive Compensation Programs to evaluate, design, and develop incentive programs across various businesses and levels. This role provides strategic leadership and consultation to senior leaders, HR, and cross-functional teams to craft incentive programs aligned with our mission and priorities. The position involves strategic influence, project leadership, and tactical execution.

The work location is fully remote. The selected candidate will work from anywhere in the U.S., preferably on East or Central time zones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a thought leader on incentive program design and implementation, aligning with best practices and business initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and compensation data to optimize incentive plans supporting organizational strategy.
  • Lead a remote team including a Sr. Analyst and Consultant, focusing on incentive analysis and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to design, communicate, and implement incentive programs.
  • Explore system automation for tracking, reporting, and communication to streamline processes.

This role involves managing people, interpreting policies, and overseeing processes affecting subordinate units.

Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. as the organization does not sponsor visas.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of compensation experience with a focus on incentive programs.
  • At least 3 years of people management experience.
  • Experience designing programs aligned with organizational goals and market data.
  • Strong research, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Workday, and Market Pay.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing incentive programs in non-profit settings.
Pay Range

Starting at $120K–$140K annually. No annual bonus is offered.

Salaries are location-specific, based on skills, experience, and internal comparisons. Salary details will be discussed during the phone screening.
