Job summary

Paylocity in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Store Manager responsible for overall store management, inventory control, and maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards.

You will recruit and train staff, supervise 4–12 employees, schedule, and support marketing initiatives while ensuring compliance with health codes and safety policies. Expect 40–50 hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in a QSR environment.
• Experience supervising and training staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must operate a computerized POS system.
• Able to work 40–50 hours weekly.

Position Summary:

Directs staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Maintains standards of restaurant safety and security. Recruits staff and oversees training program. May contact prospective customers to promote sales. Responsible for local marketing initiatives. Maintains business records. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.

Requirements

Pr-requisites:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years in QSR environment, experience in supervising and training staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical:
• Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.
• Position requires bending, standing, walking and repetitive use of hands and arms the entire workday.
• Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Position requires the ability to handle exposure to food and cleaning chemicals on an hourly basis.
• Must have the ability to work a minimum of 40 to 50 hours a week.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be on call 24 hours a day.
