Job summary

AutoZone is recruiting for a Manager in Training (MIT) to develop leadership and operational skills in a retail environment. You will receive hands-on assignments and structured learning opportunities aimed at preparing you for promotion into a Retail Store Management role.

Over an 8-12 week period, MITs gain leadership experience, focus on delivering WOW customer service, and build competency in store operations under the guidance of the Store Manager.

The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a transitional role designed to prepare you for promotion into a Retail Store Management position. With a focus on leadership training, customer service excellence, and operational expertise, you’ll receive hands-on assignments and structured learning opportunities. Within 8-12 weeks, you could progress into management—depending on your prior experience and performance.
