EcoClean Austin offers a Manager in Training (MIT) program designed to develop future leaders who value leadership, innovation, and sustainability. The program covers customer experience, store operations, garment knowledge, production flow, and people management, with a pathway to leadership roles.

Paid training and opportunities for advancement are provided in a team-focused environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up

What You'll Be Doing

As a Manager in Training, you’ll embark on a structured program designed to teach you every aspect of our business. Here’s what you’ll dive into:

Customer Experience
  • Deliver exceptional service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
  • Learn garment inspection, ticketing procedures, and build lasting customer relationships.
Store Operations
  • Master opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
  • Support scheduling, labor management, and maintaining company standards.
Garment Knowledge
  • Gain expertise in garment care, including wet cleaning, wash & press, and specialty items like wedding gowns and household textiles.
Production Operations
  • Understand garment flow from intake to delivery, quality inspection, and production scheduling.
Leadership Development
  • Develop skills in coaching, performance management, hiring, conflict resolution, and team communication.
Business Development
  • Contribute to local marketing, sales growth initiatives, and community outreach.
  • Support customer retention and commercial account development.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Lead by example in delivering top‑notch customer service.
