Job summary

Dignity Health - St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, CA, seeks a Manager, Imaging Services to oversee daily operations and drive strategic development of the imaging department to deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services.

You will lead imaging staff, manage equipment, ensure regulatory compliance, collaborate with radiologists and other departments, and foster continuous improvement, patient safety, and an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent imaging-related experience.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Manager, Imaging Services, you will oversee daily operations and strategic development of the imaging department, ensuring high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Every day you will manage imaging staff, monitor equipment, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with radiologists and other departments to enhance service delivery and patient experience.

To be successful, you will demonstrate strong leadership, technical proficiency, and strategic management skills, driving continuous improvement, quality control, and a collaborative environment for departmental success and patient outcomes.

• Manages personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training, and effective communication.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional imaging-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
• Minimum of three (3) years of diagnostic imaging experience and two (2) years of experience managing/supervising in a related imaging field.

Licensure:

• Certified technologist with current applicable state licensure. If the state in which you are applying offers no applicable state licensure, then corresponding registration in a national modality (ARRT or NMTCB or ARDMS) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
