Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to travel regionally to client sites (25% travel).

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains customer relationships with all relevant individuals in his/her district, at all times, including regular customer visits.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with Company service and system performance.
  • Escalates system downs according to escalation procedures to ensure earliest return to service; reports promptly.
  • Achieves guaranteed uptime and other parameters as sold to customers.
  • Promotes quality improvement processes to reduce cycle time and improve technical performance.
  • Interviews, hires, and trains customer engineers and technicians to support regional business.
  • Manages, coaches, and provides direct supervision to professional contributors and/or skilled staff.
  • Responsible for salary planning, career planning, corrective actions, objectives and performance appraisals.
  • Ensures employee satisfaction through communication of progress, goal setting and development plans.
  • Forecasts financial, manpower, and operational requirements; identifies service agreements with marketing and sales.
  • Manages startups, local inventories and RMA procedures.
  • Ensures appropriate safety practices among customer engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains customer relationship with all relevant individuals in his/her district at all times, at all levels. Performs regular customer visits.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with Company service and system performance.
  • Escalates system downs according to valid escalation procedure, to ensure earliest possible return to service. Reports in a timely and accurate manner as required.

  • Promotes quality improvement processes to:
    • reduce cycle time
    • drive continuous improvement of technical performance
    • empower the work force
  • Interviews, hires, and trains customer engineers and technicians as necessary to support regional business.
  • Manages, coaches, and provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors
  • Responsible for salary planning, career planning, corrective actions where necessary, establishes objectives and performance appraisals.
  • Ensures employee satisfaction through:
    • communication of business progress and all related action.
    • setting goals and controlling achievements.
    • establishing training and career development plans.
  • Forecasts financial, manpower, and operational requirements for key businesses (start up, warranty, service agreements, paid service). Identifies and pursues service agreement business in conjunction with marketing and sales.
  • Manages start ups in terms of time and cost requirements. Manages local inventories and RMA procedure.
  • Ensures the appropriate safety practices among customer engineers.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
