Introduction

Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to lead all aspects of assigned department, i.e. Store Sales Accounting/Cash Audit, Cash Management, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (Resale or Not for Resale), Retail/DC Ops and ensuring maximization of working capital and accuracy, timeliness and effective control of all responsible financial transactions, focused on reporting and close processes, supporting Store Sales and Cash Management operations teams, Treasury and check exception processing in addition to related Genpact team AP/AR processing (Resale and/or Non-Resale), warehouse, direct store distribution, and/or Cash Sales Audit/3rd Party Audit. This position directs and leads the department to ensure proper application of internal controls associated with area of responsibility. This position is responsible for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of procedures and controls for assigned department in accordance with established service level agreements, company, industry, and accounting policy guidelines. The leader is responsible for overseeing the retained team following 2 legacy processes as well as the third-party provider. The purpose of the department is to ensure assigned processes are well controlled, as well as the streamlining, standardization of process across inconsistent legacy processes in a complex environment.

Responsibilities
  • Directs, motivates, and develops staff maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth and their ability to function effectively. Mentor, coach, and cross train team members, stretch them beyond their comfort zone, to provide advancement and exposure for team members.
  • Responsible for assigned processes for all ADUSA Brands, overseeing first line people leaders.
  • Work across all levels of company personnel, as appropriate to resolve outstanding issues/concerns.
  • Interactions are internal and external to the company at all levels and pertain to project / functional activities.
  • Independently gains cooperation and commitment through personal persuasiveness.
  • Interactions may be on behalf of project / functional team members. Contributes to the overall delivery of project / functional objectives.
  • Promotes an effective team environment through clear communication of assignments and provision of feedback. Leads the completion of multiple assignments within a project / functional environment. Acts as mentor, effectively demonstrates leadership attributes, shares project / functional expertise.
  • Has extensive relevant experience in finance operations with a history of successfully running procure to pay Cash Management and Treasury finance operations.

Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree; finance, Accounting, business management or related field preferred; 8+ years of equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of retail industry preferred
  • Experienced professional in Finance and Accounting operations

ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $108,880 - $163,320

Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
