We are looking for a dynamic and experienced *Manager I, Sterile Processing* to join our team to lead production and quality efforts. STERIS ensures healthcare facilities nationwide are prepared for anything and the Sterile Processing Department is crucial to this mission.

As a *Manager I, Sterile Processing*, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our Customers' expectations are met, overseeing management, production, and quality. Your leadership will drive excellence and innovation in sterile processing.

*Key Responsibilities:*

· *Lead and Inspire:* Manage, train, and implement Sterile Processing Department processes in a contracted facility, fostering a culture of excellence while building their knowledge of instrumentation and sterilization procedures.

· *Innovate and Improve:* Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and new services to enhance client service and optimize workflows.

· *Ensure Compliance:* Adhere to safety and health policies, maintaining the highest standards, including JCAHO, AAMI, OSHA, CDC, and AORN.
* *Customer Partnership*: Communicate with all levels of hospital staff, deliver KPIs, and review quality metrics.

*Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed:*

· *Education:* High School diploma/GED.

· *Experience:* 5+ years in Sterile Processing, with 2+ years in a leadership role, preferably as a Sterile Processing Manager.

· *Certification:* Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile via CBSPD or HSPA required (or within 12 months of hire).
